alarm off, earphones on
rush to the place you cannot flee
with your cup of coffee
vacant smiles exchanged
difficulties swallowed
Drag yourself home
with ideas disapproved
Wooshhh
Shirts off, music on,
Lurk in shadows till dawn
The grassland of high school
You can smell
the soup your mother made
You can taste
“Bro lets break the rules”
You can hear
Pitter-patter
Stakes higher
Hays withered
Pain endured
inhale, sniff, BREATHE.
bring up corners of your mouth,
SMILE
Doors would open, sparks would fly
As long as you hold the key of your sky,
silver lining would ally
