Point of View Shot These types of shots are taken from the perspective of a certain character in the film. In a specific scene the director might want to give you the perspective of being in the action, so he will opt to use a point of view shot. This is a shot of Latika from Jamal’s perspective at the train station. It gives as the effect that we can see and feel everything Jamal is seeing and feeling. It puts the viewer in the action. Low Angle These shots are taken from a low perspective upwards. The intention of this is to make the character appear more powerful and important.
