Sometimes , the best journeys in life come from the decisions you almost didn ’ t make . Case in point : Sharon and her husband Robert , back in 1984 . “ We had no business starting a golf cart company , in all honesty ,” Sharon recalls . “ When we started this , we didn ’ t know the front of a golf cart from the back , so we really just jumped into the deep end . Of course , we did our research and found that there was a retail market , so that ’ s how H & H Golf Carts was created .”
However , the pair soon realized they needed a way to handle their counter sales , serial numbers , and , most importantly , their accounting . “ We serviced a 90-mile radius and quickly found out that doing everything by hand was not the way ,” mentions Sharon . “ Interestingly enough , my parents and Holly ’ s parents had grown up in a relatively small town where everyone knew each other . As a result , I ’ d heard that Holly had a technology firm , so when I needed help in my business , I simply called her .” And , as they say , the rest is history .
UNDER MY UMBRELLA

I ’ ve been very lucky in that .”
