The project is set up as an act of critical writing that aims to
produce the new evoking the original, overcoming the myths of
modernity. At the same time starting from what the modernity
has producted to be able to carry it out fully, trying to correct the
distortion. The idea of

to the classic manner of Vitruvius and Alberti, not only an immaterial body animated by flows and currents of energy, rather as

These issues have been studied in the PhD course in about Architecture and
Urban Planning and the Lid’A, International Laboratory of Architecture both coordinated by the Professor Laura Thermes. They have been studied also during
the Research Prin, Regeneration of tracks and marginal urban fabric. Methods,
tools, and design strate gies for new forms of sustainable living, coordinated
by the Professor Gianfranco Neri. Case-study: Among Gioia Tauro and its Port
is a research on the unfinished void between the recent urban expansion and
the harbor basin, that now is the new centre of the Mediterranean economy
routes boosted by the transportation of goods from China and from Far East. In
fact, thanks to its strategic location in the middle of the route between Gibraltar
and Suez, the port of Gioia Tauro, is the main important in Europe among the
transshipment ports that places Calabria as a the new gateway between East
.and Europe
