I think by doing finance and doing it for fifteen years of your life, is a boring job and to move on to do something else as salaries are very high,it is very difficult to move on. I was very brave, enough to leave that past behind me and to invest into becoming an entrepreneur, which is very risky and that is how life should be. “Now, I’m living”! 7. What makes your brand so different compared to other watch brands? The fact that the brand is Australian! Plus, it appeals to Australian’s who are passionate about their own country. Australia appeals to the world and it appeals to people around the worldand that you could look at the statistics and the immigration to Australia; which is high, and they feel at home here. However, Australia and the Design is my idea of watchmaking; but it is not revolutionary. The design however is Swiss quality and to seal the quality of the watch is made by a Swiss Manufacturer. Basically, itis the combination of Australia, the beauty of Australia and the Swiss quality and its expertise. 8. You’re Global Brand Ambassador is Dominic Purcess. How does he feel about your tagline; “Take a piece of Australia”? Has he ever been to Australia? Dominic is Australian, and he is a Sydney boy, and then he moved to Penrith. He ispassionate about Australia. Then, he moved to Los Angeles twenty years ago to become an actor. However, he is still connected to Australia and he wanted to become a Brand Ambassador which he feels makes him connected to Australia and Australian people. 9. Tell us about your new brand of watches? Australis! It is the new watch that we are launching in November and it is the jewel in the crown, and it costs $4,850.00 AUD Dollar. It is a beautiful watch and you can go online, and you can make your own watch; which is completely unique with eight hundred and fifty combinations where you can choose the colour of the stitching from the leather strap which makes it unique and it is stunning on the wrist. 10. Will you be launching a watch for women? Yes! We will be launching the ‘Noosa Collection’ from the 1st of February and that would be our first women’s range.
