Qs 1 . Who is Pieter Petros ? I would like to be known as the Philosopher of the New World . My perspective on fashion or the other ventures may have a philosophical outlook , yet they are practical , in day to day life . Through fashion I can express myself the best , hence I use it as way to communicate my philosophical ideas ; leading by example . So , yeah , that ’ s PP , The New Age Philosopher .
Qs 2 . The world of Pieter Petros is “ Succeed at the Speed of Elegance ”. According to you , what does that mean ? I personally believe that when we feel good about the way we are dressed , we are more confident hence produce best results . Elegance is what make you stand out in a crowd and it is also contagious . Therefore , you will always Succeed at the Speed of Elegance !
Qs 3 . You ’ re a Belgium Designer who lives in India . How did you start your label ? I have always been interested in the latest fashion . Two years ago , for a friend ’ s wedding I designed my very first suit . The feeling of wearing something that I designed exclusively for myself was incredible . I decided in that moment that I wanted to have this feeling all the time and , also share it with others . So , I made a few more designs , decided label , color , etc . Later that year , during Christmas dinner , while talking about various things my mother said , that when I was a kid and we went shopping , I would always end up selecting clothes from the exclusive collections . This statement made by my mother , was a sweet confirmation that this is wasn ’ t just a shortterm hobby , but what I wanted to do for the rest of my life . The rest is history . Now , I have a sharp vision and feel even more sternly about the things that once were just a hobby .
Qs 4 . How do you describe your fashion ? I would say that PIETER PETROS is a one of a kind brand that brings out each one ’ s personality by highlighting their uniqueness . I believe that we should leave a place with something more than what was there when we arrived , with PIETER PETROS , that ’ s exactly what I wish to achieve . I want my designs to help my clients get more than what they already have .
Qs . 5 You were quieted in your bio that ‘ leading by example where you use 100 % of your products are natural & sustainable . What makes it so ? PIETER PETROS is a completely unconventional fashion brand that believes in working alongside nature , in order to make this world a happier and better place . All the materials , except the soles of the shoes , used in our designs are 100 % natural and eco-friendly . We have a team working on finding the best alternative for the shoes and once we have that , PP shoes will be at a whole new level . Nature has always been kind to us and now it ’ s time for us to give Her back something and I will do all in my ability to achieve it at the earliest .
Qs 6 . You have an exclusive range where you use bamboo . How did that concept come about ? I am a curious person , always on the lookout for interesting materials that I can incorporate in my latest designs . So , when I came across this wonderful fabric , it was like I hit the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow . It is a perfect fabric in terms of sustainability and looks too . Now , I have suits , boxer shorts , t-shirts , etc ., made from it .
Qs 7 . What characteristics that makes a man great ? When you really find yourself , you understand your purpose in life and when you strive to be the best version of yourself , every day , you learn to become fearless of every obstacle in your path and nothing can stop you from achieving your vision . While working on your goals , you should also focus on being at peace with yourself , then you will always be happy and this will also make other people around you happy . A great man always treats other people the way he wants to be treated . I believe that these ; i . e ., Self-awareness , Persistence , Fearlessness , Respect and Gratitude are the basic characteristics of every great man .
Qs 8 . For those who don ’ t know about tailoring terms . What ’ s the difference between bespoke , tailor made and
off the rack ? When we say bespoke , it is a design made exclusively for one individual . It will not compliment another ’ s body type as well as it will for the one it ’ s made . Tailor made is when you take an existing outfit closest to your body size and make a few adjustments to make it fit you perfectly . Off the rack is the everyday clothes that we get from the malls , there are some varieties , small , medium , large , etc .
Qs 9 . According to you - you want to make your brand the most expensive menswear in the world . What makes your brand so expensive ? I ’ d rather say that I want to make my brand the most Exclusive , the experience is what my customers pay for , they not only get a complete bespoke and unique outfit made for them , but also get to name it according to their choice . Moreover , only the most exclusive fabrics and materials are used in these designs as they are not just appealing but also 100 % natural . Above all , knowing that there will be only one piece of that outfit and that he will be the only one who owns it , is what makes him feel special .

How does it make them feel ?
