PDM : The body is multi-sensored with the eyes that can see , ears that can hear , mouth that can speak . In your bio it states the David Gandy Wellwear is multi-sensory . Explain how it is multisensory ?
DM : David Gandy Wellwear fuses fashion , function and feeling . With fashion , we have created stylish designs that are appealing to the eye ; essentials do not have to be basic or unappealing in their aesthetic . Function addresses the practical design details such as pockets in sweatshirts , wellbeing elements of the fabrications , as well as the great quality which means the garments will last for a very long time . And feeling is both how soft they are to the touch , and how they make you feel when you wear the garments .
PDM : When it comes to temperature control for the body - how do the fabrics regulate moisture and wearability of the product ?
DG : Loopback refers to the knit that features loops on the underside of the fabric creating an adaptable option that can be worn year-round . The loops are moisture wicking allowing the sweatshirt to absorb sweat from the body and pass it into the garment to keep you cool . Conversely , during colder months , the loops trap air and a provide a natural insulating layer . Fleece back refers to the brushed finished at the back of the fabric . Here the traditional loops at the underside of the fabric are broken creating an even softer feel against the body . The brushed pile traps air , making the fabric warmer to wear than the loopback alternative . The finish creates body in the fabric whilst remaining lightweight meaning the garment feels substantial , warm and holds its shape without feeling heavy .
