Designers tend to work alone - have you ever worked with anyone or co-produced a product to make the final design? The legacy you have led when it comes to design is ‘luxurious and bespoke’. How do you want to be remembered? And will you have an heir to continue the legacy? Lastly, what would you tell a designer who want to get into the industry and what advice would you give them to become successful? Well actually, most designers work within agencies or companies, only very few can work “solo” in the world of product or industrial design. Opportunities are extremely scarce due to high costs of developments. However, it is necessary to point out that even if you work “solo”, you are still part of the process, you might be the creative head that together with the client’s approval decides what to do, but you still have to abide limitations of industrial and manufacturing processes and work with engineers and manufacturers to make sure what you design is manufacturable and gets I’ve already done things I am content with, but I think I am yet to do the things I will be remembered for – or at least hope that will be the case. I would like to gradually introduce my knowledge to a larger scale, moving onto larger product exe-cutions and architecture. I was fortunate to grow up in an extremely visually and aesthetically potent environment, which I dare say probably had very few equals in the past and I would like to pass this not only to my next ambitious projects, but naturally to an heir or someone who will be able to soak up what I had learned previously and carry You have to be ambitious, look not one, but two corners ahead, never have an intention to compro-mise (although in some cases you will have to) and understand things take time, unfortunately a lot more time that one would expect, such is life. Also understand that it does not matter how great you are, unless nobody knows, nobody will ap-preciate that fact. Very talented people sometimes forget they are still part of a human world and they need to interact with others and form relationships. I have formed great relationships with some of my clients, and the humane aspect of those manufactured in the shape and quality you envision. on the torch. can be eventually very useful and fruitful for the work process – and the result of it as well.
