You will find a few courses you can take if you wish to become a superhero someday. The first option is to be apparently a normal individual blessed with some unique and powerful powers, thanks to failed research experiments, spider bites, or not being a human in the first place. Nevertheless, what if you wish to take another route. There is only one option for you: becoming dirty rich. Trust fund child Bruce Wayne dealt with this method before he became the hero of Gotham City. Tony Stark also followed Batman’s tracks by taking advantage of his billions of money to create a hov- ering suit on his journey to becoming Iron Man. Are you one of those people who are huge fans of Iron Man? Have you ever dream of flying like this superhero? Now you can, with the new invention that allows you to hover like your favorite superhe- ro. A jet suit is designed by a British former commodities trader. It has already gone on sale in a department store in London with an awesome price of $440,000! The suit created by Gravity Industries is made up of 5 different miniature jet engines. These are attached to the back and arm of the pilot. The jet is also composed of 3D printer parts and electronics that look like the one worn by Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man in the marvel hit superhero, “Iron Man.” The jet suit runs on diesel or jet fuel. It has a speed record of thir- ty-two miles per hour and an altitude of 12,000 feet. Nonetheless, for safety reasons, Richard Browning flies only several meters above the ground when employing it. Browning has taken it on different shows and presentations across the globe. Last year, he took flight above a tiny closed-off street only outside the extravagance department store Selfridges. The store is currently selling custom-made versions of the jet suits for its customers. According to Browning, the jet suit uses at least 4 liters a minute in the hover position. This allows a person to hover for three or four minutes hassle-free. He also added that they have another version of the suit that allows the user to fly for at least nine minutes. It was something their team is looking to enhance. However, it is the inevi- table effect of flying without the set of wings. How Does the Iron Man-like Jet Suit Works? The British inventor Richard Browning recently debuted his tech- nology in March 2018, along with an early version suit referred to as Daedalus. This one-of-a-kind technology mixes body-mounted contracted jet engines, together with a specially made exoskeletal suit. This allows the pilot to take off vertically and hover using the human body to device the flight. The 2 hip-mounted gas turbine engines as well as the 4 arm-in- stalled gas turbine engines offer sufficient lift. This allows the pilot to hold their body weight for long periods to hover in the air. In demos, the suit has flown above the ground at a low speed. Nonetheless, Browning claims it can propel pilots even higher and at better speeds. It can potentially hover at a few hundred miles per hour, and it could reach thousands of feet above the surface. The expensive jet suit is the closest thing people have seen to a legit Iron Man suit. Indeed, it has scarcity in sleekness. However, it does feature a gut punching, 1,050 horsepower. This power is pushed through the kerosene-powered turbine engine that is attached to the arm and back of the pilot. You see, that is quite enough push to propel any pilot more than thirty miles per hour and at least 12,000 feet in the air. The inventor sees huge potential in Daedalus as an official future transportation alternative for commuters. Nonetheless, Browning was also careful to note that the suit was noisy, inefficient, and smelly just like other first motor vehicles. We are in a world where the majority of commuters still have not mastered not driving while socialising online. Can you ever visual- ise your morning rush hour travel full of half-trained jetpack riders? The best part about this jet suit is that it is not simply a prototype. You can now easily grab your own Iron Man-style jetpack for a very low price of $447,000. But you need to act quickly as only a few are only available as of the moment. You need to travel to London’s Selfridges department store to get your own jet suit.
