1. When were you approached to
do “The Dalai Lama: Scientist”?
And what is you’re role in the
documentary?
I was approached about the project from a
friend of mine Alexandra Rui’s who is also
an Associate Producer on the project , the
projects is done with Dawn Griffin Engle
from the Peace jam foundation..she knew
I was a huge fan of the Dalai Lama so they
offered me to be part of the project as a
financial producers and also to be part of the
promotion.
2. Tell us what the documentary is all
about?
It’s about his life as a Scientist as many people
don’t know .. and so much more to him that
we don’t know ..The film documents the
full history of his fascination with Science
and his persistent efforts at bringing the
scientific community and Buddhist scholars
in conversation from the
70 s to the recent period.
3. You added ‘Scientist’ at the end of
the title - tell us why you did that?
He was / is a scientist
4. You recently told me that you are a
fan of the Dalai Lama - have you ever
met him? And why are you so inter-
ested in his teachings?
Never met him. His message is simple and
powerful and for me common sense . I love
his message to treat everyone with respect
and love -no matter of colour religion or
financial status.
5. Buddhism encompasses a variety
of traditions, beliefs and spiritual
practices largely based on original
teachings attributed to the Buddha
and resulting interpreted philoso-
