Q5. Please explain how everything we perceive in the world gets “adjusted”, and how this is proof of a mind-made world where reality is found to be different in different states of con- sciousness? DC: William Blake said that when he walked the streets of London, “He saw misery in every face, which was the product of ‘mind-forg’d manacles’.” In modern terms, one would say that people perceive reality through a distorting screen of beliefs, fears, memories, old traumas, outworn conditioning, and so on. The solution is the same as what Blake pre- scribed, to clean the doors of perception. Waking up to reality is a process, and along the way you discover that clarity presents reality in a totally transformed way from viewing it through a distorting mirror. Q6. You have been quoted as saying that if “1 billion people on the planet can come together in a like-minded, compassionate space”, then we can save and change the world for the bet- ter from its current atrocities and afflictions, moving in the direction towards peace, joy, and abundance. Is there a direct correlation between this reference and our evolving into being metahuman? DC: Yes, but it wouldn’t take a billion people. Human nature is slow to change, and we backslide all the time. But a single evolved person, or in fact, a single evolution idea can change the world. People anx- iously await the idea that will save us from climate disaster, and human nature would have to change drastically to rid us of war, crime, and violence. But, since everything we desire is based on consciousness, we will never lose that connection. From there, the future springs, guided by our own conscious choices. Q7. Pure consciousness exists between thoughts. Please explain how you can give rise to anything you want, need or desire without limit and into abundance by practicing being in pure consciousness? DC: This is actually the entire basis of Metahuman. All thoughts arise from silent awareness. That makes it seem that every thought starts out from blankness. But, this is obviously not true. Shakespeare wrote his plays word-by-word from a level of silent aware- ness, and a total duffer trying to write a play does the same. There has to be a different quality in Shake- Deepak and Dr. Don Hoffman at the Rubin Museum (New York) for joint dialogue on Metahuman and the Case Aganist Reality.
