Lurssen has sustained to be a German family-run shipyard since its foundation in 1875. Today, they are
on their 4th generation of private ownership. The company was established by Friedrich Lurssen to build a
prominent shipyard in both performance and quality. Lurssen Yachts is accountable for creating some of the
luxurious and expensive yachts in the world between 60 and 200m.
A few years ago, ACE and a 67-meter Garcon saw escorting the luxury mothership in Gibraltar.
Garcon was commissioned to Dimon Shipyards upon the major design that had initiated on ACE. The
support vessel was conceived to mirror the Lurssen yacht as a huge toy carrier. Thus, it was designed upon
the proven platform of Dutch yard together with a trademark ax box and a standard commercial design. This
design was shared by the entire Sea Axe range of ships that are in massive demand in the gas and oil sector.
The major appeal of the yacht is its gigantic working deck that can accommodate a significant range of spares,
tools, inflatable water toys, and tenders. The several cleanly ordered storage spaces keep the basic painted
steel look and are simple to use and tidy. That helps sustain the extravagant setting onboard ACE free of wet
equipment and dirty toys.
Garcon presents accommodations for at least twenty crew staff in thirteen cabins. The crew areas created to
meet SOLAS guidelines have a galley, mess, a huge day room, a hospital, and a gym. The tankage of the yacht
offers petrol for diesel and heli-fuel, in addition to the 350.000 liters capacity for keeping marine diesel.
The support ship is not a shadow vessel in its conventional understanding because of its distinct and
proportion abilities. As an alternative of following the mothership, Garcon will either depart after ACE, pass
it, or get ready for the entrance of the yacht by getting the tenders in the water.
