Notes from the CEO
Since our last edition we had the privilege to interview Spencer Matthews - the uncle to
the Future King of England and the Commonwealth, and one of England’s leading reality
stars. In turn, we received over 2,500 subscribers with over 17,000 hits on Instagram and
Facebook.
Now, we have the opportunity to interview two of the biggest stars in the WORLD! Former
First Lady Michelle Obama and Actor/Environmentalist George Clooney. Personally, I am
speechless!
People ask me who I get the people that I do. I would have to say it’s thanks to KC Martin
- my Luxury Editor and the reputation of the magazine. If it wasn’t for the standards set
for the magazine when it comes to the true essence of luxury and the high expectations
of the CEO; then we will be either non existent or barely existing at all.
Hence, we have worked for over 7years to get where are today, and it’s very hard to
believe from our first edition where our first interview was with Steve Forbes of Forbes
Magazine to getting a royal endorsement from Spencer Matthews.
So, in Issue No.19 we have the opportunity to interview Former First Lady Michelle
Obama who talks about her life working in the White House and raising her kids since
childhood. Plus, being a first time Author which she describes herself as humbling.
Also, we speak to George Clooney about being a 3rd generation farmer and being an
Environmentalist. The reason why George Clooney is so enthusiastic about coffee
farming is that his father and grand father invested time and money into a coffee field in
South America. It is George Clooney who created the idea of capsules used in
Nesesppreso. People have reported that it’s not environmentally friendly - however, that’s
totally opposite because that invest goes back in paying the farmers and it gives the
farmers the extra compost used to grow their trees which is vital to replantation.
Plus, we have the opportunity to interview an amazing artist; Arthur J. Williams JR. who is
known as the modern day Robin Hood. Where he stole from the rich and gave to the
poor. Hence, his good deed by giving back to the children gave him the opportunity to
become a real artist from being a convict, and to owning his own gallery in Chicago.
Hence, I am so proud to have the people who have the credibility that makes luxury what
is Polo De’Marco!
