Keeping in mind all the questions raised by the pandemia, but mostly the collective thinking and the need
to balance the new situation, we designed a parametric model, a temporary structure using plexiglass as
our main material.
This construction is easily adaptable, friendly towards the environment and has an elegant design.
It is a modular kit (Modular Tent 2020, ModuTe20) that adapts to the needs of each user and works as a
reminder for keeping the necessary distances, even in an exterior space, like a beach.
The adaptation capabilities range from a simple, single-person configuration for hygiene and protection
from sun and COVID 19, to a two-person model for the same purposes.
The use of plexiglass at ModuTe20 exceeds the regular and simple use of the material since it used a material
with new aesthetic potentials and applications.
Using 3D printing materials, the designing brings a fresh breeze of elegant and economical solution, opening
the path for new forms of communication kai protection at the same time.
