” Yes I am born and bred in Stewartry and have been visiting the rugby club for more than 30 years attending just about all of the sponsors annual events over the same period . Many years ago when the new building work was been carried out I was asked to help and I suppose my relationship started then . I don ’ t think you could find a more welcoming place and
sadly some of my old friends are not here anymore to see how the club is still flourishing .
I have no memory of ever having left the club without a smile on my face after the usual great crack we would enjoy . I would usually book a table of 6 or 12 for my guests to enjoy themselves and the welcome and camaraderie I would receive has always been second to none ; even though I am not the biggest rugby fan , this in itself speaks volumes about the inclusiveness of this great club .
