Every child arrives with their own strengths, curiosities and potential and it is our role to recognise, nurture and champion each of them. Here, their future is not predetermined. It is discovered and unlocked.
Our outcomes reflect this belief. Every pupil moves on to their firstchoice senior school at 13 +, and around half secure scholarships to leading public schools, including Shrewsbury. Yet results alone do not define a Yarlet education.
What matters most is how children grow along the way, academically, socially and personally developing confidence, character and a genuine love of learning.
We call this Excellence Without Pressure. Achievement is driven not by anxiety or comparison, but by encouragement and belief. Children are supported to aim high because they want to, not because they feel they must. In this environment, potential is not forced, it is freed.
