Lucid Technology Solutions was shortlisted in the 2021 North East Business Awards , having been selected as one of three finalists from hundreds of entries in the small business category .
Lucid has been in business for over 30 years and now has a team of over 20 people .
The local IT experts – who work with a growing number of firms on Aycliffe Business Park – offer services including IT support , connectivity , telecoms , CCTV and newlylaunched software application , Worktraq , Lucid supports businesses across almost every industry including law , videography , HR , warehousing , and finance .
Formerly known as Yarm Computers , Lucid rebranded in 2018 and moved to its new premises in Norton in 2019 as the business continues to grow year-on-year .

Lucid has three offices in Norton , Newton Aycliffe and Gateshead and achieved a record
year sales-wise in 2020 .
The growth and ever-changing dynamics of technology has allowed Lucid to expand as a company and focus on the provision of a wider range of support .
The company prides itself on providing all of its services in-house rather than outsourcing , including cabling which it has now been offering for several months .
