If you ’ re like us , you ’ ve been regularly asking , when does Stranger Things Season 4 come out ?! The last season left us with so many questions . Not to mention it ’ s been over 2 years since Season 3 ’ s finale was watched by most of us !
So when will we know the actual release date ? Rumor has it that it might be announced at Netflix ’ s upcoming virtual fan event , TUDUM . We know the event is taking place on September 25 , 2021 , and that the Stranger Things cast will be a part of it !
FanBolt ’ s theory ( aka my theory ) is that it will return in February 2022 , as the only season we ’ ve not really covered is Winter . Perhaps just a coincidence , but maybe not …

Netflix ’ s TUDUM event didn ’ t reveal an actual release date as we hoped . They stated yet again that the 4th season of the series will premiere in 2022 . But , fans did it a brand new trailer for the upcoming season .
Stranger Things Season 4 Filming
Filming on the upcoming season has reportedly wrapped in Atlanta , Georgia . Filming was originally supposed to take place in the spring of 2020 . However , COVID caused the production to pause , and filming didn ’ t resume until late last year .
