Bring out the birthday cake , we ’ re celebrating !
This year Winchester Magazine is celebrating its 10th anniversary . However , we ’ re not the only ones . Local specialists and Winchester Magazine supporters Donna Laine and Squeaky Clean Homes are also celebrating a decade in business . So , it is congratulations all round .
Winchester Magazine editor and owner Liz Kavanagh had a vision , right from the off , for a truly local publication , singing about the best our city offers , shining a spotlight on local experts and individuals . All the magazine ’ s contributors are based in and around Winchester , providing inside knowledge . A particular feature of the magazine are the stunning city scenes on the front covers painted by local artists . We like to think Winchester Magazine has become a community as much as a publication .

The Magazine ’ s anniversary is an opportunity to say a massive thank-you to our advertisers . While we support local , they have supported Winchester Magazine , and we wouldn ’ t be here , 10 years on , without them . Some , including Shentons solicitors , Lainston House and Porterhouse Steakhouse restaurant , have been with us from the very first issue . Others , such as Winchester BID , Winchester Science Centre , Gurkha ’ s Inn and the Watercress Line came on board during the first year . There ’ s a lot of mutual admiration between us and the businesses and organisations we work with .
