SENCODE CYBER SECURITY

Sencode Cyber Security was formed by Callum Duncan and two fellow Teesside University students just before the pandemic took hold .
Having identified key issues the security industry faced , Sencode developed a penetration test reporting tool designed to speed up test reporting times and , therefore , save clients time and money , while massively boosting their online security .
Unique reporting tool Argus allows Sencode to compile bespoke test reports at speed with advice for risk mitigation and the remediation of vulnerabilities , saving clients time and money . Combine that type of innovative security solution with the cyber awareness training it offers and , as its website states , Sencode can “ help businesses stay ahead of hackers ”.
But with two awards in the bag – Callum also received the Rising Star award – what next for the company ?
Callum said : “ I hope we grow and continue on the trend of what we ’ re doing . It ’ s me and Matthew at the moment . We had an original founder , Gareth , who unfortunately has had to fly to other pastures – but a lot of us put a lot of work in to get to this position .
“ Hopefully we ’ ll stay on the up . I ’ m very much a pragmatist when it comes to this kind of thing , though . I take it one day at a time and am very thankful to be put in this position .
“ There ’ s such an amazing business community here – we want to rely on you and work with you . A business isn ’ t just some people putting in work , it ’ s the community around it too .”
