Editor's Note:

Over the past year, the Raider Review has learned to start over. We started this year with many new writers, and as the year progressed, we've seen those writers grow into amazing staffers and potential editors. In the past three years, the Raider Review has strived to shift online and improve the way we reach out to Silver Creek students, but we've also wanted to hold onto the old-fashioned print issues that we started with. We've done a lot of going back to our roots, especially with the revival of the Voices of Diversity column, but we know how important it is to keep up with the times, which is why we continue to push our social media pages and website further into the lives of students. We've seen our Facebook page reach over 1,000 likes, our Humans of Silver Creek page reach over 1,300, and our website get 3,300+ views weekly.

First and foremost, we would like to thank Mrs. Weck, without whom we would not have been able to come together and meet our deadlines. Mrs. Weck's leadership and her ability to work with each staffer to help them improve individually as well as her ability to connect with students has had a profound impact on everyone in the class.

We would also like to thank Mr. Abrigo for helping us print, even if we cut it too close to our deadlines.

I (Sanya Kamidi) would personally like to thank all of the staffers who contributed to the Raider Review this year for their hard work and the time they put in outside of class to make it happen.

Lastly, we want to thank everyone who keeps up with the Raider Review online and waits eagerly for our print issues.

Ultimately, the goal of the Raider Review has always been to tell student stories, and we hope we were able to accomplish that this year through the Raider Review and Humans of Silver Creek. We'll see you next year!
