Experience – Yellow Box Marketing ’ s web designer Phil Whittle and his colleague Dan Benson have more than 20 years of experience between them .
Planning – Dan and Phil begin building a website after the client has agreed the project . without having a website and want to understand how to bring in more customers through their site .

Yellow Box works closely with clients to make sure they get exactly what they want from a new site . The firm ’ s growing team now numbers nine and it has expanded its services so clients have a one-stop agency and one point of contact for all of their online needs .
The recent addition to the team of a photographer and a content writer takes away the onus for clients to supply the necessary images and content needed to build a professional website .
“ We noticed that more and more clients didn ’ t have high-quality images and often struggled writing content about their business and services ,” Brad explains .
“ No matter which industry a client is in , we can build a website to suit their needs . We ’ ve built sites for a
variety of businesses – everything from tradesmen and home improvement companies to solicitors and e-commerce businesses .”
Yellow Box is a Teesside firm that utilises Teesside talent . Phil Whittle , who lives in Saltburn , and Nunthorpe ’ s Dan Benson are web designers with more than 20 years of experience between them .
The talented duo begin building a website after the client has discussed and agreed the project with Brad and his account manager .
Brad says : “ Our designers create a concept for the new site , which we present to the client . Once the design is signed-off we then go into the development stage . Clients then receive a link so they can see the website being built in real-time .
“ Once the website has been built and signed-off by the client , it ’ s ready to go live . All of our designs are bespoke , we don ’ t use any templates or off-the-shelf themes .”
The next stage , once the website has been launched , is focusing on how to drive traffic to it , and Yellow Box ’ s expert team have the knowhow and tools to be able to do just that .
“ Throughout the project we make sure clients understand that it ’ s great to build a new website but if their goal is to increase leads and enquiries then we need to drive more traffic to the site ,” says Brad .
“ We have an in-house team of experts who can support them by putting their website in a position where potential customers can find it . We run PPC ( pay per click ) ad campaigns , manage their social media and run paid ads on platforms such as Facebook or Instagram , as well as producing the video content that can be used on social media or YouTube .”
