I nfinity Finance Group is ready to help its commercial clients by offering another range of services that will dramatically enhance the

Yarm-based firm ’ s portfolio . Infinity Commercial Brokers officially launched on March 1 , following the exciting appointment of the vastly experienced Mark Kidd as its development director .
Mark , from Hartlepool , has arrived with an extensive contact list following more than three decades in the construction industry working with global companies .
The 50-year-old has been involved in huge multimillion-pound projects , including the £ 45m Hadrian ’ s Tower , which is Newcastle ’ s tallest building .
Now Mark will be looking to source alternative finance options for businesses and property developers for Infinity Commercial Brokers .
The latest strand of the Infinity Finance Group aims to structure finance for clients ’ business or development to maximise feasibility , profitability and , ultimately , success .
The group ’ s managing director Tony Insall said : “ This one has been talked about for a while , but it was about getting the right person in . We firmly believe we have managed to achieve that .
“ In a nutshell , we have been asked by a few of our clients if we could provide or help with commercial finance .
“ They wanted two main things : firstly , to assist to buy land and do real estate development , commercial and residential ; secondly , they asked about asset finance , so refinancing for plant machinery , wagons and tippers or whatever .
“ Having been asked so many times we felt we would be able to use this as another offer of Infinity Finance , alongside our holistic financier offering .”
Infinity Finance Group already offers pensions , protection and private medical insurance , among other things , as well as successfully working with companies to deliver group schemes .
Now , as brokers , Infinity Commercial Brokers provides that next step for asset finance .
Tony added : “ It ’ s probably the last thing we could do on top of all of our other services and we have found the right person to do it with us .”
Mark will work with Tony in securing contracts to help companies continue to grow .
His remit will effectively be to work with clients and help them secure funding to achieve their goals . Infinity Commercial Brokers have access to funders who can provide funding from 75 per cent loans to cost up to 100 per cent funding .
And in Mark , Tony believes the group has brought in exactly the right man to achieve its goals .
Tony said : “ With Mark ’ s expertise , knowledge , experience and network , coupled with our network and development opportunities we have really been able to hit the ground running .
“ We have big projects we are working on funding for having won the contracts to do it . Mark has been key to that and that has enabled us to get off to a fantastic start with this new part of the group .”
Even though Mark has not previously worked in the finance industry , his impressive track record meant it didn ’ t take long for Infinity to realise he was their man .
Tony said : “ Mark has got years of experience of the construction industry behind him , in fact more than 30 years . He is a qualified quantity surveyor who has worked with massive companies such as Rok PLC , Thermabuild and the Wates Group .
“ He has been able to raise commercial finance for many developments , but he has also project managed and provided appraisals for projects . He has looked at build costs and the potential income from the sale of the developments too .
“ We met Mark through doing research and development on a company that Mark was working with and we are happy now to have him on board with us fulltime .
“ Mark has a large network of clients , an expertise in knowing the value of developments and what they can be sold for . His contacts within the financial developing funding circles are second to none .”
As well as being involved in the Hadrian ’ s Tower project , Mark worked on the £ 50m Westminster Works in Birmingham , Salford ’ s £ 26m Middlewood Plaza and Falkirk ’ s £ 25m Larbert House project to name just a few .
