Your charity needs you !

Supporting the Teesside Charity by becoming a patron or Infant Hercules Charity Club member is a way of helping those less fortunate in our region

£ Over

4m raised so far

Since The Teesside Charity ( formerly the Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation ) was created 10 years ago , it has raised over £ 4m and donated to hundreds of good causes on Teesside . In 2021 alone , £ 337,000 was gifted to local groups , charities and individuals .

Could you help the charity continue its great work into the future and join some of the most influential businesspeople on Teesside as a patron or Infant Hercules Charity Club member ?
Patrons make an annual financial commitment to the charity via an individual ( or family ) patronage , or as a company .
For £ 2,750 , individual patrons have their family name or first and surname on the charity website , while for £ 5,000 , company
patrons can display their logo and a link to their website .
The level of involvement beyond this financial support is entirely up to the patron , but they are invited to breakfast meetings , lunch meetings and patron get-togethers . They can also choose to attend funding presentations , present Teesside Hero awards , visit beneficiaries and get involved with “ where the money goes ”. Patrons also feature in a biannual newsletter and quarterly e-news .
The next Patron ( and prospective patrons ) get-together is on Wednesday May 18 at Active Chartered Financial Planners in Stockton . The event is invitation only . Contact diane . w @ teessidecharity . org . uk for more information .

“ I was proud to be one of the founding patrons of The Teesside Charity and I ’ m as proud as punch to still be a patron today . The charity has achieved more than I could possibly have hoped for and I continue to watch what they do with a smile .” Barney Ord
“ I ’ ve been a patron of The Teesside Charity for 10 years , so I ’ m pleased to have played a small part in supporting the charity since its inception , and I was super thrilled when I was recently asked to be a trustee . I ’ m proud of having an affiliation with this amazing charity and all its stands for .” Bill Scott , OBE , Wilton Universal Group
“ We all know that there are many amazing local charities . The great thing about being a patron of The Teesside Charity is that it allows you to support lots of local worthy causes because they spread the love between so many of them . It ’ s a truly fantastic charity that keeps every penny right here on Teesside . I ’ m proud to have started and led the charity and know it continues to be a powerful force for good .” Andy Preston , The Teesside Charity co-founder
“ The Teesside Charity ’ s main selling point is that all the funds that they raise stay directly on Teesside . It provides tangible results , which supporters are able to visit and see for themselves , and invests money back into the local area . From a business perspective , not only does it tick boxes in terms of governance and CSR , it also shows staff that you care about the region where they live and work . The charity carries a reputation that businesses are proud to be associated with – us included .” Harriet Spalding , Mandale Group
