RECRUITMENT
Matchmakers – Recruitrite has set up a ‘ Rite People ’ team
“ FOR TOO LONG , THE INDUSTRY HAS OPERATED ON A ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL APPROACH , WHEN REAL LIFE – AND REAL BUSINESS – DOESN ’ T WORK LIKE THAT .” life – and real business – doesn ’ t work like that .”
The new service is designed to give clients a choice , allowing them to use only the pieces of the recruitment puzzle they need .
Melissa adds : “ Rite People works almost like a shopping list , offering each individual service and allowing clients to order as much , or as little , of the process as required , from simple recruitment ad placement to an end-to-end headhunting campaign .
“ The basic concept behind it is to make our services accessible to everyone , whatever their budget and whatever level of involvement they require .”
The new arm has proved so successful that while Recruitrite is still based in Darlington , the Rite People element of the business has moved to its own base in Urlay Nook .
Melissa added : “ We were originally based in the Darlington office all together , but the decision to move to a separate office was taken in order to give us space from the core business and an office where we could purely focus on the Rite People arm .
“ At the new office , we share the building with some fantastic local companies and , indeed , we now work with a number of them as preferred recruitment partners , using all of the options we offer .”
David Langburn , operations manager at Rite People , continued : “ People buy into people , and this even applies when we formed this team .
“ There are plenty of recruiters to choose from , but we wanted a careful balance of experience , character , honesty and sincerity in all that we do .
“ We take pride in offering a relaxed , professional , fun and supportive environment – somewhere you feel happy to work and don ’ t suffer the dreaded Sunday blues !”
And there are plenty of firms needing all of Recruitrite ’ s services right now , as the so-called Great Resignation takes hold - a wave of employees looking to change employers , prompted by a high number of vacancies and burnout caused by the pandemic .
For recruiters , this means it ’ s a candidate ’ s market out there , as Melissa explains .
She said : “ We are now part of a candidate-driven market , where it ’ s very much about the company selling itself to potential employees . With this in mind , we ’ re focusing on actively helping our clients to stand out from the crowd in terms of candidate attraction .
“ We have given them advice on everything from salary and benefits packages and interview processes , to onboarding processes and company culture adjustments , all to ensure that they are in the best place possible for the hire to work out in the long-term .”
With a diverse client base covering industries from tech to petrochemical , STEM to construction , and pharmaceuticals to renewable energy , Melissa ’ s team have a range of experience that helps them stand out in the competitive recruitment sector . They also have years of experience under their belts , which means they have seen both the good and bad habits that recruitment agencies can fall into – and they know what works .
Melissa explains : “ We believe that our services , and more importantly our people , are the best in the industry , which means we never worry about what other companies are doing . We also like to go above and beyond for our client base as a matter of course , and they can see that for themselves .
“ Perhaps because of this , we are in the fortunate position of having a solid , secure client base that is always growing , without really having to go out and sell our services . People come to us to ask for our help , and then they ’ ll come back again and again . I guess we must be doing something right .”
