Sales account manager Trina Ives says ITS offers “ fantastic career and promotional opportunities ”.
During the pandemic , when staff were working from home for the first time , they received regular welfare calls from the management team .
Trina recalls : “ This demonstrated that the management team really cared about us . The conversations weren ’ t work-related , they just asked us ‘ How are you feeling ?’”
ITS communicates with employees regularly through a weekly situational update , sharing company and other information . At the start of the pandemic , three updates per week were taking place to keep in touch and ensure everyone was safe .
“ The company invests a lot of time and money in the training and development of each individual who works at ITS , enabling us to provide skilled and knowledgeable engineering support for our customers ,” says Trina .
“ Employees can learn new skills , move into different disciplines and develop towards senior and managerial positions .
“ We have directors , managers and engineers at ITS who started their careers as apprentices . With the company ’ s ambitious growth plans , there are plenty of opportunities for career advancement here .
“ To build on our excellent team working skills , we also organise social events . I wouldn ’ t have stayed here for 20 years if it wasn ’ t a great place to work .”
Trina says ITS recruits will join a strong team where everyone pulls together to find the optimum solution for every customer .
“ We are all about getting the customer experience right and making sure we deliver on what we say we are going to ,” she says . “ Successful project delivery is key , and we have an excellent track record in customer retention .
“ We ’ ve got great employees and customers and we want to keep hold of them – and we do an excellent job of that . The first customer we had is still our customer today – that demonstrates that we do things right .” Trina says listening is key . “ When we visit a customer , we spend time listening to their issues so we can deliver the solution that offers the best value for them . That way , they know they can call us and they will get a solution they can trust .
“ Delivering a project and solution for the customer that meets their expectations and enhances their performance is very rewarding .”
