PETER BARRON MBE , FEATURE WRITER Born in Saltburn and brought up in Middlesbrough , Peter ’ s 40-year career includes being the longestserving editor in the Northern Echo ’ s history . HARRY PEARSON , COLUMNIST Great Ayton-born Harry has been a freelance writer since 1987 . BOB CUFFE MBE , NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR A Redcar-born Stokesley resident , Bob ’ s 30-year media career began in sales at the Evening Gazette in Middlesbrough , where he rose to be regional MD responsible for the Gazette , Chronicle and Journal . MARTIN WALKER , EXECUTIVE EDITOR Tees Business was Martin ’ s fault . It was his idea and he now co-owns the magazine ’ s company , Resolution . Aycliffeborn Martin started out with the Gazette , worked at Middlesbrough FC and Sunderland AFC . He also runs his own PR business which publishes Aycliffe Business .
