OCALS embraces digital change
The world has pivoted for personal search provider OCALS , a onestop service for all conveyancing requirements – and boss Jeremy O ’ Connor is excited to offer solicitors an innovative digital package to help them onboard new clients .
OCALS – which stems from O ’ Connor Associates Legal Services – is staffed by a team of local people , all experts in their field , with a second-to-none knowledge of the area and offering helpful and friendly support .
The Stockton-based company specialises in local authority and public utility searches , although it offers a range of more than 80 .

“ From the initial quotation to uploading identification and other documentation , to signing terms and conditions forms – even anti-money laundering checks can now be done remotely at the click of a button .
“ The new software saves the client from having to take their passport , proof of address and other necessary paperwork into a solicitor ’ s office to progress conveyancing . It also saves staff at the solicitors from having to copy and file these documents .
“ Solicitors ’ clients are given a digital vault where any valuable legal documents can be kept and accessed by them 24 hours a day ,” adds Jeremy .
