Chloë is the super-energetic face of Wander Films , crowned Rising Star in the inaugural Tees Tech Awards and also voted among the top 30 most inspiring local business leaders by Tees Business readers . With partner Lou Tonner , she started her business in Australia and moved back to the Tees region in 2018 with a vision to change the way companies promote themselves online . She ’ s since won multiple awards and took Wander from a team of two to nine , while winning contracts with names such as Teesside University , Tomahawk Steakhouse , Hampton by Hilton – and Tees Business . She is a finalist in the Institute of Directors ’ 2020 Director of the Year Awards .

Jordan is chief technology officer and co-founder of Middlesbroughbased software specialists Kraken IM , winner of the Small Business category in the inaugural Tees Tech Awards . He masterminded and built the tech that underpins Kraken ’ s platform . The technology he built has been responsible for helping Kraken gain global clients , investment and recognition . His use of blockchain technology has has garnered interest from the engineering and defence sector - and even GCHQ .

Since qualifying as a private client solicitor in March 2019 , Emily has impressed more experienced colleagues . Enthusiastic and adaptable , she has

Northumbria University graduate Kassi left a PR role in London to move back to Middlesbrough and start up KSE Cosmetics , trading as nuddy , an independent cult body and haircare brand . Founded in 2018 , initially from her parents ’ garage , nuddy ’ s mission to make soap bars cool again has grown to become a cult brand in the indie beauty / personal care sector . She developed the brand to promote conscious consumerism and reduce the amount of wasteful plastic used in bathrooms .

Since joining CPI as a legal secretary in 2017 , Emma has excelled in dealing with a range of complex agreements and high workload while training to be a solicitor – passing all university exams with distinction . She developed CPI ’ s new contract system , rolling it out to the business and introducing DocuSign to enable electronic signatures during the pandemic .
