Dear Delegates,
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the first International School of Hellerup Model United Nations Conference.
For ISHMUN 2021, our theme is human rights. Over the course of the last year, through the hardships of the pandemic and the challenges sustained by it, the presence of global threats to human rights has become increasingly clear. However, the topic, while undeniably complex, is often denied the proper course of discussion. In light of this, the ISHMUN 2021 organizing team has made the decision to focus this conference on the hot-topic human rights issues facing world leaders today.
Over the course of this conference's preparation, we have been continously impressed by the hard work and dedication of all our chairs and delegates. We look forward to seeing the incredible diplomacy, problem solving, dedication, and leadership that will surely be demonstrated in the next few days.
