CMMI: where are we going and how can you help Lisa Masciantonio Director, Partner & Client Operations CMMI Institute (Powered By Carnegie Mellon)
CMMI is the result of more than 20 years of ongoing work at Carnegie Mellon University by members of industry, government, and the Software Engineering Institute. In December of 2012, the CMMI moved from the Software Engineering Institute to the CMMI Institute, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carnegie Mellon University. The CMMI Institute is working to build upon CMMI’s success, advance the state of the practice, accelerate the development and adoption of best practices, and provide solutions to the emerging needs of businesses around the world.
The presenter will share updates on the future of the CMMI and the CMMI Institute. The primary focus of this session, however, is to hear from you in a facilitated discussion. This session is all about your input and experiences. It's about learning actively by getting involved in the discussions, debates and the sharing of information. Delegates are encouraged to bring with them questions, recommendations and best practices they have used in the field. There will of course be some suggested topics that will be used to help start the discussions. However, where the session goes from there will be up to you. This will be a highly interactive, informative and engaging session with a great opportunity to meet Lisa and other industry professionals in this field.
