Kingsbury Wins
Matthew Kingsbury dominated the field at Irwindale to get his first vicotry of the season. He also dominated the Fast Heat barely edging Christian Pedersen for the win.
There were plenty of bullets for Matt to dodge in this one. A couple of the wrecks blocked the track causing the field to come to a complete stop while the cars who were involved in the wreck could get straightened out.
Matt led a race high 96 laps on his way to victory. Mike Kelley followed up his win last week with a 2nd. Nick Johnston finished 3rd, Christian Pedersen 4th and Rick Thompson rounded out the top 5.
In victory lane, Matt was pretty happy with how the race went. "I enjoyed the race at Irwindale much more than what we saw at Sobo. I think this could be the most competitive season we've seen yet."
The series will take a break for a week and then it's off too sunny Lakeland Flordia.
