Kelley Wins
Mike Kelley dominated South Boston by getting the lead on lap one and leading every single lap. The final caution flew on lap 94 which gave Adam McCosh one more shot in a one lap shootout. Mike held on to win though in his first race this season.
He had to avoid his share of wrecks though. Three times the track would be completely blocked. Adam McCosh finished 2nd in his first race of the season as well. He was followed by Casey Pierce, Toby Jenkins and Keith Jeffery to round out the top 5.
Mike was a little aggravated at one of the drivers during the race and in victory lane, he told us about it. "First he runs over Hensley and I get caught up in it. Then, he tries to run over Adam and I slow down and get plowed into by the pack. Boom! Confetti..."
Next week the series heads out to sunny California to race at Irwindale.
