Season 11 will see a complete change in the Series. For the first time, the series will steer away from the trucks and welcome the Super Late Model for a 12 race shootout series. After a long 20 race season with the trucks, a short track season seems like a nice break. The biggest track that the series will run on will be 3/4 of a mile long. With the introduction of the Super Late, the series
series will also introduce Heat Races. The practice session will also be a qualifying session for the heat races. Drivers will line up in the heats how they practice with an inversion. The fastest driver in practice will start the first heat last. Each heat race will have a maximum of 12 drivers per heat, 3 heats and 36 total drivers will race in the feature. Once the heat races are complete, the feature grid will be manually set. Heat 1 (the fast heat) drivers who finished 1st-4th will line up 1st-4th. Heat 2 drivers that finished 1st-4th will line up 5th-8th and finally, heat 3 drivers that finished 1st-4th will line up 9th-12th. There are a lot of bonus points on the table for drivers to get as well. 3 points for a feature win, 2 points for a fast heat win with 1 point to win the other 2 heats and 1 point for no incidents in both the heats and the main. In the feature race, you can gain 1 point by leading a lap and 1 point for leading the most laps which brings the bonus point total to 9 if you can have a perfect night.
