The CCPs’ production is monitored via a periodical report on “Worldwide production of coal ash and utilization in concrete and other products”. The first report in 1997 (ref. to Oskar Manz) pointed out that the total worldwide fly ash production was 459 processing for achieving complete utilization, such as: a) it is Calcium Alumina Silicate with granular size between 25 and 85 microns with high Carbon residue, b) very high alkali activity Fly ash has complex (pH 10 to 11) c) very properties that limit or high surface activity, impose additional costly d) contains residue of million tons. Recently, this production almost doubled. It needs to be pointed out that 68% of the total CCPs are produced as fly ash. 26
