Other costs related to increasing human size are related to garbage disposal and clean water production. We will need to invest much of our income in providing drinkable water to our population, which is already a problem in much of the world. Health care costs would also increase due to sicker people. Our diet and life style have already created huge expenses in this area and increased height will increase them further. When all these factors are combined they would require an annual US expenditure of about $1 trillion US dollars. As can be seen, increasing body size is not free.
