Jorns is a Swiss, family-run business and internationally active specialist manufacturer of semi-automatic and fully automatic bending machines / folders. The company also offers accessories( e. g. cutting tables, shears and support arms) as well as bending software / control, service and support. It celebrated its fifty-year anniversary in 2023.
“ We have been developing and building these bending machines since 1973. We manufacture 120 bending machines per year, of which 40 are double bending machines. These are sold, installed and serviced by our international partners, who are independent sales and service agencies. 5500 Jorns bending machines are currently in operation, creating new halls and roofs for tinsmiths, hall constructors and cladding constructors around the world,” it confirmed.
Folders include the semi-automatic Jorns JB and the fully automatic Jorns JDB double bending machine. The company also offers a range of automation and software solutions.

At EuroBLECH 2026, Saronni will present a high-performance coil feeding line recently developed for a major global Tier 1 automotive supplier. Designed for demanding stamping applications, the system combines productivity, flexibility and process reliability in the processing of both steel and aluminium coils up to 1,800mm wide.
The line features a 25-ton loading coil car, a single-spindle decoiler equipped with conical containment rolls, a cropping station, a leveller with nine-roll cassette and an alternative 19- roll cassette for advanced high-strength materials.
“ The automatic cassette change system significantly reduces set-up times, while the felt cleaning device helps ensure consistent levelling performance. The configuration is completed by an electronic servo feeder and advanced automation functions for automatic set-up, recipe management and energy-efficient operation,” concluded Saronni.

With over sixty years of experience, STAM designs flexible roll forming lines, with integrated laser or HF welding, that produce closed, geometrically complex, dimensionally precise profiles in a single continuous process( without separate welding and punching stations or intermediate handling).
“ HF welding is suitable for high volumes and special tubular steel profiles. Laser welding is suitable for narrow, clean seams with minimal thermal distortion( ideal for automotive components),” commented STAM.
“ The process delivers finished profiles with no postprocessing, less scrap in processing, superior structural strength versus open profiles and short changeover times, with the option to run in‘ roll forming only’ mode for open profiles when welding isn’ t required. Weld bead treatment ensures uniform, minimal seams,” it continued.
Each line is custom engineered in-house( mechanical, electrical and software design, construction and testing) for automotive( bumpers, support / reinforcement bars, highstrength steel structural components), logistics( shelving uprights and beams) and construction( closed tubular profiles for structural applications).
