The Burghardt & Schmidt( b + s) Group specialises in coil processing lines for precision products with a very high degree of automation and quality requirements.

Its products include A stretch-bend-levelling line. slitting lines; packaging lines; stretch-bend-levelling lines; cut-to-length lines; traverse winders; levellers for coil processing lines / perforated sheet / high-strength materials; pre-levellers; strip feeding lines; coil processing lines and burr height measurement systems( including retrofit and service).

“ Consistent development of stretch-bend-levelling lines has made us a market leader in the levelling of thin and foil metal strip. By superimposing tension and bending during the straightening process, material parameters such as yield strength, elongation and spring bending limit can be adjusted and internal stresses reduced. As a result, strip shape defects such as waviness, cross bow, the longitudinal bow and the camber are reduced to a minimum,” it said.

Since 1978, Novastilmec has specialised in the production of lines for the processing and treatment of steel, aluminium, brass, copper and titanium coil strip. It offers cut-to-length, slitting and packing lines as well as processing lines, automation and a range of accessories. For years, the company has also supplied satin-finishing and brushing lines for steel strip, in collaboration with leading global manufacturers.

Its cut-to-length lines can process cold- and hot-rolled steel strip— including galvanized, pre-painted and stainless steel( cold- and hot-rolled)— as well as aluminium and highstrength materials. The company also produces lines for the levelling and cutting of Duplex, Domex and ultra-high-strength materials.

A manufacturer of coil processing lines for over 40 years, the Italian company has also developed innovative ideas for striplevelling processes and expanded its manufacturing reach into new markets( first in Europe and later in North America).
