Otto Bihler Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG( or BIHLER) celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2023. Its headquarters are at Halblech in the south of Bavaria( Germany). As a system supplier for stamping, forming, welding and assembly technology, family-owned Bihler also offers tailor-made automation solutions. Bihler also has offices in the USA and China and over 1,100 employees in Germany and overseas.
One of its strengths is the interaction of as many processes as possible on a machine. As an example, BIHLER’ s GRM-NC is a servo machining system for stamped and formed parts, wire parts as well as round bodies and progressive components in small and medium batch sizes. It features high production speeds of up to 250 1 / minute and a standardised machine platform for its radial and linear LEANTOOL system.
Otto Bihler Maschinenfabrik can also create digital twins of complex manufacturing solutions and commission an entire system virtually in advance.

A fully integrated high-speed stamping system will be demonstrated. The system will include a Nidec Kyori high-speed press integrated with a Nidec SYS highspeed feed and custom controls.
“ Also featured will be the recently introduced Nidec SYS Inline Vision and Weld system. The mechanical vision and cutting-weld unit is connected between the automatic punching press and rewinder, and automatically recognizes n. i. o. contacts during production, joining the carrier strip splice-free and without stopping the stamping press. The process must be separated by an external loop and is monitored by a laser distance sensor. The Inline Vision and Weld Unit is equipped with an optional‘ Marking on the Fly’ feature,” said Nidec P & A.
Additional features at Blechexpo will be products and solutions from NP & A’ s entire family of integrated brands which also includes presses from Arisa and Minster, along with coil lines and automation from Vamco, Linear, Automatic Feed and CHS.
