At Blechexpo 2023 , Bihler will present its new LM 2000 platform , the latest addition to its portfolio of stamping and forming machines .
“ This modular machine platform offers features highly standardised , linear tool technology . The machine platform is available in two variants , the LM 2000-KT and the LM 2000-NC . These two linear machines are driven either by cam- or servo-controlled units for the efficient production of stamped and formed parts from strip material ,” it said .
The LM 2000-KT is designed for use with medium- and largesized batches ( up to 500 1 / min .). The LM 2000-NC is intended for use with small- and medium-sized batches and high variant diversity . Both machines are tool-compatible with uniformly designed linear forming tools ( up to 70 standard parts ).
“ Standard interfaces and hydraulic quick clamping systems enable rapid set-up and 100 % reproducible tool changeover . A total machining length of 2,000mm is available on the machine plate for additional value-added processes ,” concluded Bihler .
