At EuroBLECH 2022 , ARKU ( Baden- Baden , Germany ) will be demonstrating its deburring technology on stand A94 in Hall 11 . Deburring , it told ISMR , is easier than ever before . Drastic time savings are possible with new , intelligent software called the ARKU Wizard . It can be seen live in action for the first time at EuroBLECH .
“ Visitors will be able to see how ARKU machines can be seamlessly integrated into the entire production process for sheet metal parts ,” the German levelling and surface finishing specialist told ISMR . “ Levelling and deburring are integral parts of a complete production process , alongside laser cutting and bending .”
ARKU and TRUMPF will demonstrate this by integrating the ARKU EdgeBreaker ® 6000 deburring machine live on ARKU ’ s stand in hall 11 at EuroBLECH . The deburring result , explained ARKU , is the outcome of this successful collaboration in fully networked production .
“ Automated processing settings can be adjusted during deburring . With the Wizard , users only need to input basic data about parts ( thickness , material type etc .). The software then calculates the optimum tools and processing settings . This means that even novice employees can operate the deburring machines . While skilled workers are still hard to find , this is an immense help for sheet-metal processing companies ,” added ARKU .
During live demonstrations , the Wizard will be in operation on an EdgeBreaker ® 6000 deburring machine at EuroBLECH at Hanover . This machine is the latest addition to ARKU ’ s deburring portfolio . The Baden-Baden manufacturer has designed it specifically to meet the needs of laser jobshops .

“ This means that the EdgeBreaker ® 6000 is extremely flexible . Its vacuum conveyor and rotary brushes enable exceptionally uniform edge rounding , if desired , even up to 2mm radius ,” continued ARKU .
The machine builder will also be showcasing its wide range of deburring tools at the trade show . Another ARKU machine that will be demonstrated at EuroBLECH 2022 will be the FlatMaster ® 55 precision leveller .
“ The rollers used in our FlatMaster ® series can eliminate residual stresses in parts , sheet and plate from 0.5 to 60mm thick . Subsequent processes become much more efficient and accurate . Whether it is welding , folding or bending , both man and machine are able to process flat and stress-free parts , sheet and plate without any rework . The levelling process only takes a few seconds and achieves consistent highquality results . The FlatMaster ® series offers servo-hydraulic levelling gap control and is equipped with hydraulic overload protection to protect the drive and levelling unit ,” ARKU concluded .
