Step Automation is an Italian company that specialises in numeric controls . Its core business is developing , manufacturing and selling products and services for industrial automation and , more specifically , CNCs , software and devices to manage press brakes .
Founded in 2012 , it has become a supplier to various manufacturers of bending systems . Recently , it has developed specific projects for the automation of folding machines and traditional hydraulic presses with customised control and programming systems .
“ Our Motion modular units are designed to interface with , and control , all types of press brakes . Our EASYCUT new generation of controls ( for swing shears and rack angle shears ) uses a touchscreen for intuitive and interactive programming ,” it told ISMR .
