One focus at EuroBLECH will be its hydraulic tryout press ( metalforming ). It has installed a triple-action hydraulic tryout press at Volvo , with outer and inner slides plus cushion system for car-body part forming . It is equipped with an accumulator , to speed up production efficiency , and a moving bolster towards the front to facilitate die change .
Formed in 1976 in Taiwan , it has been present in China since 2000 .
“ Ever since we were founded in 1949 , we have applied the latest technologies in rollforming using our rollforming expertise and ability to provide complete process integration . More than 2,000 of our units are in use , producing more than 10,000 different profiles in various industry sectors . We have applied for over 40 patents ,” rollforming specialist , DREISTERN GmbH & Co . KG , outlined .
At EuroBLECH , amongst other innovations , it will focus on the Smart Factory with Roll Forming 4.0 ( RF4.0 ) and Services- 4.0 and its latest developments in these areas .
“ Industry 4.0 has long been a reality for us . We are no longer ‘ just ’ talking about our intelligent stands , supplied wirelessly etc ., but increasingly about a general , intelligent rollforming process that , with our new assistance system ( a motor-adjustable welding table ) and a new intelligent straightening device ( recognising changes in production and avoiding material waste ) controlled by app , we will present at this year ’ s EuroBLECH exhibition in Hanover ,” it explained .

This French family-owned business , set up in early 1957 , is a specialist in sheetmetal coil production systems . Stamping ; punching ; shearing ; rollforming and bending solutions are available from coil for finished or semi-finished sheet-metal components . It also builds customised solutions .
Its factory at Besançon engineers and manufactures all types of press feed equipment , cut-to-length lines as well as “ Flexilines ” ( LINAPUNCH flexible coil punching and LINACUT coil-fed fibre laser ); equipment for press control and safety equipment plus quick die and coil-change equipment . Its Spanish factory manufactures flexible punching and rollforming equipment . Dimeco ’ s Joint Venture in India ( DKMFS ) manufactures press feed equipment and cut-tolength lines for the Indian market .
The company has also developed application software to calculate coil / material / production parameters to optimise coilfed production .
“ Standard , stainless and pre-painted steel , aluminium and any metal strip from coil can be processed using combined technologies such as punching , stamping , shearing , rollforming and bending ,” it said .

Fagor Arrasate engineers and manufactures lines for cutting and processing metal coil ; presses and complete turnkey installations for cold and hot stamping ; special lines for manufacturing complex sheet-metal parts and systems for cold , warm and hot forging . Lines include transfer presses , conventional mechanical presses , hydraulic presses and servo presses .
“ We operate globally with customers including OEMs and Tier Ones in the automotive sector ; processors of coils and blanks in steel or aluminium ; forged parts or electric rolled steel producers as well as manufacturers of home appliances and metallic furniture ,” it told ISMR .
Its high-speed press line ( WaveLine concept ) has been developed to transfer large , stamped parts ( such as body side , hood , roof and double-door units ) through large tandem press lines .
