Robot and welding specialist CLOOS will be showcasing various innovations at Blechexpo 2021 .
Its QIROX Micro Cells are a customised “ ready to weld ” solution for automated small part welding . The Cobot Welding System ( CWS ) from CLOOS and MPA Technology , with a MIG / MAG welding power source , offers an easy entry into the world of automated welding . “ The CWS allows users to weld even small batch sizes economically and with consistently high quality ,” CLOOS explained .
Its C-Gate IoT platform enables users to access information from their welding production in real-time . All information is entered and processed centrally in an integrated information and communication tool , which has several modules . With open interfaces ( APIs ) and standards such as OPC UA , the system can be integrated into existing network and application environments ( MES , ERP ).

Rivit Srl ’ s CONTROLRIV4.0 is a monitoring system for blind rivets and rivet nuts , which helps user to plan different placing operations , monitor the process of the work and analyse the resulting data .
“ The system is connected to the riveting tools and , in line with the working methods and predetermined settings of the operator , the work of one or more tools can be monitored in real-time to avoid mistakes and deactivations . The results are improved productivity , a higher standard of work and reduced waste ,” said the Italian manufacturer .
The system is designed as modules , with a Master and 11 Slaves so that up to 12 workstations can be managed simultaneously . Visual and sound alerts have been designed to highlight correct or wrong applications .
