“ This compact servo production system unlocks new possibilities for the industrial mass production of all common hairpin types . To this end , the BM-HP 3000 combines all process steps into one efficient complete solution . This starts with the dynamic , slip-free feeding of the wire ; precision cutting ; NCcontrolled mechanical stripping of the coating ; simultaneous chamfering of the pin ends ; 2D pre-bending and 3D die bending , all the way to removal and mono-component storage . Users benefit from cycle rates that are three times higher than with sequential systems , easy and rapid variant changes ‘ on the fly ’ and consistently high production reliability ,” it added .

At Blechexpo 2021 , G . RAU will present its NITINOL precise strip with homogeneous mechanical and physical properties .
“ This super-elastic strip has a shape memory sensor and actuator . Users can produce long single strip lengths for a costsaving processing option , such as reel-to-reel processing . The standard dimension range starts at a strip thickness of 0.10mm and ends at approximately 2.00mm ( sheet thickness tolerance of +/ - 0.01mm ),” said the German manufacturer .
As a standard for super-elastic applications , it uses ASTM F2063-compliant NITINOL . It delivers the strip in widths of up to approximately 35mm .
G . RAU is based in Pforzheim , where its three production sites and headquarters of its two subsidiaries are also located . It manufactures products for various applications from over 200 different metals and alloys . This includes strip , tube and wire from precious metals , special alloys and composite materials . It also manufactures precision parts and complex assemblies from these preliminary products .

Product innovations from Meusberger at this October ’ s Blechexpo will include its high-precision standard components for the modular concept .
“ The modular concept in stamping dies has been part of our standard practice for years . A universally usable basis die , also called a base set , is made into a customised stamping die with the help of slide-in die modules ,” it explained to ISMR .
“ Choosing the right gas spring among the wide range of products currently available on the market is not easy . Often questions arise such as : ‘ How much power do I need ? Is this the right size ? What about installation or maintenance ?’ This is exactly where we wish to support customers ,” it added .
It offers SB stamping and forming die sets for 200kN , 300kN and 400kN Bihler presses . The die sets are available from stock in lengths of up to 596mm and as type SBH ‘ tunnel cut ’ or ‘ SBP spring-loaded guiding plate ’.
