Q-Fin will be showcasing its new F1200 XL deburring-edge rounding-finishing , four-station machine at Blechexpo . It is designed for the deburring , edge rounding and finishing of sheet metal parts up to 1200mm wide .
” After deburring and rounding of the edges , certain products require end finishing e . g . line graining ( or refining the linear grinding pattern ). The F1200 XL has four machining stations to do this and offers options such as automatic height adjustment on the brush engines and grinding belts . With four stations over 2.18 metres , this finishing machine is particularly compact ,” Q-Fin told ISMR .
” The F1200 XL is designed for continuous and rapid high finishing quality . It has an HMI touchscreen and can ensure different finishing applications in one pass , with two grinding belts to deburr and finish material ,” it added .
Q-Fin ’ s DS600 - DS1200 standalone deslagging machines will also be on display .

Dutch surface finishing specialist , Timesavers International BV , is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and has a long pedigree in wide-belt sanding machines . It has maintained a constant focus on innovation - its 42 series machine won the Red Dot award for industrial design .
Timesavers takes on full engineering and fabrication and builds its own electrics and software as well as doing assembly , installation and service . It recently developed an HMI for all its machines that uses pictograms to guide a user through the operating process , and has finalised a complete machine training programme . It is also working with partners on new tooling tests aimed at doubling speed and productivity and will run a tooling webinar in September on this topic .

The PT series grinding machine is also sold as a top / bottom version . The selection and arrangement of the machining stations for top and bottom machining can be varied as required e . g . the P2 planetary head unit can be added as an option .
The NLC model range uses wet grinding technology for special types of material , excessive material heating and machining sheets with a heavy oil film . WEBER ’ s portfolio also includes extrusion machines , additive manufacturing , robotics and automation .
