A French family-owned business , founded in early 1957 , DIMECO produces sheet metal coil production DIMECO headquarters in Pirey , France . systems .
Staff at its headquarters engineer and manufacture press feed line equipment , cut-to-length lines as well as “ Flexilines ” ( LINAPUNCH flexible coil punching and LINACUT coil-fed fibre laser system ), equipment for press control and safety equipment plus quick die and coil-change equipment . This includes tool loading and storage as well as press safety and monitoring equipment . DIMECO has also developed an app , DIMECOIL , which calculates the coil / material / production parameters to optimise coil-fed production .
DIMECO ’ s Spanish division has a new factory in Oiartzun ( near San Sebastian ) where it manufactures high production flexible punching and roll forming equipment . Its Joint Venture , DKMFS , manufactures press feed equipment and cut-to-length lines in Pune ( India ) for the Indian market .

Roll forming specialist , Dreistern , has focused on digitalisation and automation , what it dubs ‘ roll forming 4.0 ’, in the roll forming process .

Italian manufacturer Prima Power offers 2D and 3D laser cutting ; welding and drilling ; punching ; bending ; combined technologies and automation machines and technologies for sheet metal .
Its new Laser Genius + 2D fibre laser machine has a trajectory speed of 180m / minute . The family includes 1530 , 2040 and 2060 sizes which can be equipped with fibre laser powers ranging from 2 to 15kW .
“ The new laser head has been designed to manage the heat required to melt thick sheets while staying cold and clean , using sensors that actively control the cutting process in real-time ; hermetically isolated optics ; simplified mechanics and a fume extraction system ,” it said . Three new on-board software modules are Optia ( recovery of scrap sheet ); Wizard , a simplified CAM for new / modified nesting processes and 2D Editor , a part program graphic editor .
Prima Power ’ s has eight factories worldwide . Seven Technology Centres are available for technological consultation , feasibility studies , cycle time optimisation and demonstrations .
