Established in Lyon ( France ) in 1864 , Picot provides plate roll bending machines and resources designed to meet customer requirements . It has supplied more than 5000 sheet metal roll bending machines around the world ( consisting of 3- and 4-roll bending machines ).
“ Our roll bending machines can produce material with perfect pre-bent edges , with no lamination , and can roll any metal , any thickness and any form ( including Aluminium composite material ). The machines are easy to use with our new easyroll patented CNC software . This intelligent rolling software uses springback prediction and simulation to enable users to reach their expected rolling diameter on the first attempt , with no corrections needed ,” said the company .
Its double pre-bending plate bending machine features driven and synchronised rolls , with automatic and hydraulic synchronisation of roll parallelism . Other benefits , it said , include progressive speed and no wear components .

Surface finishing and levelling technology specialist ARKU will present its universal deburring machine for laser and stamped parts , the EdgeBreaker ® 6000 , at Blechexpo 2021 . It will also showcase the FlatMaster ® 55 precision leveller , for flat and ‘ virtually stress-free ’ workpieces . ARKU also provides press feeding and strip preparation equipment for roll formers .
The EdgeBreaker ® 6000 is designed for the complete processing of punched and laser-cut parts . Processing steps include deburring , rounding , removal of oxide from the edges and surface finishing for sheet metal parts ( from individual parts to larger quantities ). It has a vacuum table as a support for the parts .
“ Thanks to a passage width of 1300mm , a wide variety of parts can be processed . The rotary brushes ensure a very uniform edge rounding result and a radius of up to 2.0mm along the edges ,” added the manufacturer .

Its ByTube 130 tube processing system has a wide range of applications for all metallic materials in diameters ranging from 10 to 130mm and raw material lengths of up to 8.5 metres .
Its Xpert Pro , Xpert 80 and Xpert 40 ( with the Mobile Bending Robot ) bending solutions round off its range at Blechexpo . The robot is docked to the press brake in under ten minutes , moving from manual operation to fully automated production .
