FOCUS ON FOLDERS
A new gantry solution for the MAK 4 Evolution UD will be presented at EuroBLECH 2026. and customised manufacturing solutions for various industries worldwide. At this October’ s EuroBLECH exhibition in Hanover, Germany, RAS will be showcasing its ProfileCenter, XLTbend 2 with LUNA and TURBO2plus Compact.
“ The RAS XLTbend 2 with LUNA combines precision up-down bending technology with automated loading and unloading. Cassettes, panels, boxes and folded pockets can be processed efficiently without turning the part for the bending direction. The intelligent crowning system supports consistent results across the entire working length,” it explained.
The RAS ProfileCenter is designed for complex profiles such as door frames, window frames, elevator portals, electrical enclosure components and cable ducts. The FlexGripper handling system automatically positions, rotates and turns the blank during the bending process. This enables precise, scratch-free profiles with short cycle times. With the TURBO2plus Compact, RAS Reinhardt Maschinenbau incorporates a new
XXL folding beam. The compact machine is designed for roofing, façade and sheet metal applications.
The RAS Multibend-Center feeds and aligns blanks, changes tools, bends sheet metal and unloads finished parts automatically. Depending upon the configuration, it is designed for efficient, repeatable and surfacefriendly production for different parts and batch sizes. Working lengths of 2,160mm, 2,560mm and 3,060mm are available.
Schechtl Maschinenbau GmbH( Edling, Germany) began as a blacksmiths shop, run by Josef Schechtl, in 1910. Twenty-two years later, it produced its first folding machine. Today, it manufactures shears and folders for sheet metal, working with global distributors.
It offers various models of manual and motorised swivel bending machines, in a wide variety of designs and control types, for folding sheet metal. It also manufactures segment and shingle bending systems along with shears and profilers. Segment bending machines are equipped with split rail systems.

The Schröder Group consists of Hans Schröder Maschinenbau GmbH in Wessobrunn-Forst( Germany), SCHRÖDERFASTI Technologie GmbH( Wermelskirchen, Germany) and SMU GmbH( Leinburg-Weißenbrunn, Germany).
Fully automated folding without robots will be the focus of the Schröder Group’ s presence at EuroBLECH 2026( 20-23 October 2026 in Hanover, Germany).
With a new gantry solution for the MAK 4 Evolution UD, Schröder is automating loading, unloading and gauging, enabling unmanned production., Folding machines equipped with an Up-and-Down folding beam and the Advanced Handling System( AHS), a rotating suction plate gauge, automatically process complete folding programs. With the newly introduced gantry solution, blanks can now be loaded automatically from pallets. The blanks are measured optically, eliminating the need for any additional referencing.
“ Unloading is also fully automatic, with the software allowing users to choose between different palletising options. We therefore provide a solution for unmanned production. Programming is carried out via the machine control. No robot is required and manual operation remains possible,” said the manufacturer.
The PowerBend Industrial UD 3200 / 6.0 is a folding machine designed for steel sheets of up to 6mm thick. At EuroBLECH 2026, the PowerBend Professional folder will be showcased with an Up-and-Down folding beam and a rotating clamping beam. It provides two tool stations, hydraulic tool clamping and a hemming function for producing hems in a single operation.
“ Workpieces no longer need to be laboriously turned over for reverse bends, as the machine can fold both upwards and downwards. The 850mm clamping beam
