At this year’ s Blechexpo, RAS Reinhardt Maschinenbau will present smart bending solutions that aim to“ redefine flexibility in sheet metal processing.

Reinhardt Maschinenbau is modernising its machine portfolio with a space-saving bending solution that is designed to deliver flexibility, even in confined production environments.“ The TURBO2plus Compact is based on the construction and technology of the standard TURBO2plus model but features a newly designed housing. Thanks to its more compact build, and particularly the reduced overall height, the machine integrates easily even into tight spaces. Improved access to the machine also simplifies the handling of larger parts and enhances material flow. It is available in bending lengths of 2540mm,
3200mm or 4060mm, and can process steel sheets of up to 2.5mm thick with a tool height of 145mm,” said RAS.
“ The machine is specifically designed for small businesses that cannot afford to compromise on quality, bending capacity or ease of use( despite limited installation space). Depending upon user preference, the machine can be operated with either the intelligent, graphically guided Bendex software or the streamlined OpenEditor interface. Both options ensure fast, precise, and efficient programming,” it added.
The TURBO2plus Compact can be flexibly equipped with segmented upper beam tools for creating three- or four-sided bent parts, such as boxes. Segmented folding beam tools or crowning rails can also be integrated for special geometries, even on long parts
Schechtl Maschinenbau GmbH( Edling, Germany) began as a blacksmith shop, run by Josef Schechtl, in 1910. Twenty-two years later, it produced its first folding machine. Today, it manufactures shears and folders for sheet metal, working with various distributors throughout the world.
It offers various models of manual and motorised swivel bending machines, in a wide variety of designs and control types, for folding sheet metal. It also manufactures segment and shingle bending systems along with shears and profilers. Segment bending machines are equipped with split rail systems.
